Job Description:

• We are looking for a Frontend & Mobile Developer to support the development and growth of MNR (MyNaijaReviews), a gamified social platform focused on engagement, rewards, content, and community.
• The primary focus will be MNR, but the developer may also support other projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the existing UI/UX.
• Build and enhance mobile features.
• Integrate frontend and mobile screens with backend APIs.
• Improve UI quality, responsiveness, performance, and usability.
• Identify issues, suggest improvements, and take ownership from idea to delivery.

Requirements:

We want someone who:

• Thinks in solutions, not just tasks.
• Takes initiative and communicates clearly.
• Can work through ambiguity and ask smart questions.
• Suggests better approaches when something can be improved.
• Cares about user experience, not just writing code.
• Can move quickly while still writing maintainable code.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Strong experience with AngularJS.
• Strong experience with Flutter and Dart.
• Ability to build, test, and debug apps for iOS and Android.
• Good understanding of responsive and mobile-first UI.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-moving team.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular 2+, Vue, or Svelte.
• Experience modernizing or migrating legacy frontend code.
• Experience with Firebase notifications, WebView flows, or app store release processes.
• Experience working on consumer apps, social apps, gamified platforms, or reward-based products.
• Basic understanding of analytics/event tracking.
