Job Description:

• We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong experience in Python, Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF), and FastAPI to join our growing team.
• You will be responsible for building scalable backend systems, developing APIs, and collaborating closely with frontend-developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Django, DRF, and FastAPI
• Build and consume RESTful APIs
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• ⁠Integrate databases, third-party APIs, and external services
• ⁠Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• ⁠Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve backend issues
• Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers
• ⁠Participate in code reviews and follow best engineering practices

Requirements:

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of professional experience in backend development
• ⁠Strong proficiency in Python
• Hands-on experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI
• Solid understanding of RESTful architecture
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
• Knowledge of ORM concepts
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with Git or other version control systems
• Ability to write unit and integration tests

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Knowledge of Celery, Redis, or background task processing
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• ⁠Exposure to micro services architecture
