Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Medical Sales Representative to expand our footprint in the Lagos healthcare market. This role is designed for a science-driven professional who can translate technical product knowledge into compelling sales pitches. You will be responsible for driving product awareness, building high-value relationships with healthcare professionals, and managing the end-to-end sales process within your assigned territory.
The ideal candidate has a "hunter" mindset, a deep understanding of the Lagos geography, and the interpersonal skills to engage effectively with doctors and pharmacists in high-pressure environments.
Requirements:
Sales & Product Promotion
Professional Detailing: Promote and detail pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to drive prescriptions and recommendations.
Visibility & Growth: Increase product visibility across hospitals and pharmacies, ensuring our brand is the first choice for providers.
Closing Deals: Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial pitch to closing deals and meeting monthly revenue targets.
Territory & Account Management
Territory Mapping: Execute strategic territory mapping across the Lagos Island and Mainland areas to maximize coverage and efficiency.
Account Operations: Manage client orders, oversee invoicing, and ensure rigorous follow-up on payments to maintain a healthy cash flow.
Market Intelligence: Track market trends, identify emerging opportunities, and monitor competitor activity to stay ahead of the curve.
Reporting & Administration
Performance Tracking: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, market feedback, and territory performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales data using basic computer tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Degree in the Sciences (Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related courses).
Experience:
1–3 years of experience in Pharmaceutical sales or FMCG is highly advantageous.
Proven ability to build long-term professional relationships and close complex deals.
Territory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Lagos (Island & Mainland) geography and the local healthcare landscape.

Technical Savvy: Basic computer skills for reporting and data management.
