Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and highly organized Double Qualified Nurse (RN/RM) to join our healthcare team in Asaba, Delta State. Reporting directly to the hospital Matron, you will play a critical role in the day-to-day management of patient care. Whether you are a recent graduate or an experienced professional, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being of our patients, supporting clinical procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of medical documentation and hygiene.
Requirements:
Clinical Care & Patient Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans for patients.
Assist the medical team with patient diagnosis and treatment protocols.
Perform clinical procedures including vital sign monitoring, wound dressings, IV placement, and medication administration.
Manage patient intake, history taking, and the seamless processes of admission and discharge.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain complete, accurate, and confidential documentation of all patient encounters.
Ensure strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and hospital policies.
Provide prompt incidence reporting and manage patient grievances with professionalism.
Environment & Quality Standards:
Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile environment at all times.
Uphold hospital quality standards and contribute to effective healthcare delivery.
Support the Matron in the daily coordination of the ward/station.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Licensing:
Must be a Double Qualified Nurse (RN and RM).
Possession of a valid Nursing Practicing License is mandatory.
Any additional nursing specialization is an added advantage.
Experience: 0–7 years of professional nursing experience.
Technical Skills:
Computer literacy is essential for electronic medical records and reporting.
Proficiency in clinical nursing procedures and patient assessment.
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
High level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure during stress and crisis situations.
