Job Description:

We are seeking a methodical and detail-oriented Inventory Officer to manage and optimize our stock control processes in Ibadan. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain, ensuring that every item is accounted for, properly stored, and available when needed.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to stock management, ensuring that "dead stock" is minimized and high-demand items are consistently replenished.

Requirements:

Stock Control & Reconciliation

• Data Integrity: Maintain meticulous and accurate stock records for all incoming and outgoing products.

• Audit & Reconciliation: Perform regular physical inventory counts and reconcile them with digital records to identify and resolve discrepancies promptly.

• Reporting: Prepare and update comprehensive inventory reports, including cost records and usage summaries for management review.

Warehouse & Supply Management

• Level Monitoring: Constantly monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and initiate timely re-order processes.

• Optimization: Ensure all products are handled, labeled, and stored according to safety and organizational standards to prevent damage or loss.

• Efficiency: Analyze usage patterns to help management optimize stock holding and reduce operational waste.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an OND qualification.

• Experience: At least 1 year of proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a similar role.

• Technical Skills:

  • Strong record-keeping and organizational abilities.

  • Basic proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Excel) for data entry and reporting.

• Core Competencies:

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret stock data and predict re-order needs.

  • Detail-Oriented: A high level of accuracy to ensure physical stock matches recorded figures perfectly.

• Geographic Requirement: Candidates must reside in Gbagi or its immediate environments in Ibadan to ensure proximity to the facility.
