We are recruiting to fill the position above
Job Description:
We are seeking a high-integrity Inventory Officer to serve as the analytical custodian of our automotive assets. In a high-velocity environment involving vehicle parts, accessories, and finished units, inventory accuracy is the heartbeat of operational flow. This role is designed for a "Technical Controller", someone who is not only comfortable with physical stock but is also highly computer-literate and capable of managing complex data sets like VINs (Vehicle Identification Numbers) and specialized serial numbers.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Leakage" across the supply chain. You will be responsible for the entire inventory lifecycle: from receiving and issuing precision vehicle components to conducting rigorous cycle counts and reconciling stock between the Warehouse, Workshop, and Showroom. If you possess a "Detail-First" mindset and the agility to master new inventory software quickly, we want you to safeguard our automotive investments.
Requirements:
1. Technical Stock Governance & Tracking
Multimodal Movement: Track the flow of inventory across four distinct zones: the Warehouse (bulk), Assembly Line (production), Workshop (repairs), and Showroom (sales).
Identifier Precision: Manage inventory using technical identifiers, including specific part numbers, serial numbers, and VIN tracking for finished vehicles.
Record Integrity: Maintain a real-time digital mirror of physical stock using management software, ensuring that every "issue" and "receipt" is timestamped and accurate.
2. Inventory Optimization & Reconciliation
Stock Health Monitoring: Actively monitor stock levels to trigger replenishment requests, balancing the need to avoid "Stock-outs" with the financial goal of preventing "Overstocking."
Cycle Counting & Audits: Lead regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies, damages, or obsolete stock before they impact the bottom line.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare data-driven inventory reports for management, highlighting turnover rates, slow-moving parts, and reconciliation accuracy.
3. Organizational Excellence & Cross-Functional Synergy
Warehouse Architecture: Ensure the professional labeling, storage, and organization of parts to minimize retrieval time and prevent damage.
Team Integration: Work as a strategic bridge between Procurement (buying), Production (building), Sales (selling), and Finance (accounting).
Compliance Leadership: Enforce 100% adherence to company inventory procedures, ensuring the warehouse remains a controlled and auditable environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Experience: Proven experience in Inventory, Stores, or Warehouse Management. Direct experience in a Car Dealership, Vehicle Assembly, or Spare Parts business is highly preferred.
Software Literacy: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to learn new ERP or Inventory Management Systems (IMS) with high velocity.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive components and a basic understanding of procurement and logistics processes.
Core Competencies
Numerical Grit: High comfort level working with complex alphanumeric codes (VINs and Part IDs).
Detail Orientation: A "Zero-Error" approach to record-keeping and data entry.
Operational Agility: Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced workshop or showroom environment.
