Job Description:
We are seeking a highly disciplined and strategic Chief Security Officer (CSO) to take full ownership of the safety and security architecture of our estate. This is a critical leadership appointment for a professional who can restore confidence, enforce high operational standards, and provide expert direction to both internal personnel and third-party providers. The CSO will be responsible for transforming the estate’s security operations into a proactive, responsive, and data-driven system.
The ideal candidate is an Ex-military or Paramilitary professional with a proven ability to lead teams under pressure and implement rigorous accountability structures.
Requirements:
Strategic Leadership & Operations
End-to-End Oversight: Provide comprehensive management of all estate security operations, ensuring 24/7 adherence to established protocols.
Policy Development: Design, implement, and iterate on security policies, SOPs, and emergency response strategies to stay ahead of emerging threats.
Executive Advisory: Serve as the primary security advisor to the Executive Council, aligning security initiatives with the Estate’s governance framework and safety objectives.
Supervision & Accountability
Personnel Management: Supervise and evaluate the performance of all deployed security guards and third-party security firms.
Discipline Enforcement: Establish strict accountability structures to ensure professionalism, operational competence, and ethical conduct among all personnel.
Surveillance & Access Control: Oversee the functionality and optimization of access control systems, CCTV infrastructure, and general safety mechanisms.
Risk Management & Incident Response
Risk Assessments: Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, providing actionable recommendations to the Executive Committee.
Incident Coordination: Lead incident response efforts, including deep-dive investigations, comprehensive reporting, and post-incident reviews.
External Liaison: Maintain productive relationships with relevant law enforcement agencies and community security stakeholders.
Reporting & Performance
Data-Driven Insights: Develop and deliver periodic security reports featuring performance metrics, incident logs, and strategic growth recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:

Background:
Ex-military or Paramilitary Service personnel are highly preferred.
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma with a Security Certification in Security Management, Criminology, or a related field.
Experience:
10–15 years of progressive experience in security operations.
A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Proven track record in managing security for large residential estates or high-stakes corporate environments.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong knowledge of modern electronic security systems (CCTV, Biometrics, RFID).
Deep understanding of risk management frameworks and incident response protocols.
