Job Description:
JC International (JCI) is seeking a seasoned HR/Admin Executive to anchor our human capital and administrative operations. Operating in the high-precision sectors of Oil & Gas, Marine, and Construction, this role is designed for an HR professional who understands that safety, certification compliance, and asset integrity begin with the people we hire and the systems we maintain.
You will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle while ensuring our administrative workflows support JCI’s leadership in Training and Inspection services. If you have 5+ years of experience, a deep understanding of Nigerian Labour Law, and the organizational grit to manage complex technical manpower, we invite you to join our HR Team.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management
Manpower Planning: Lead end-to-end recruitment, ensuring that technical roles for inspection and maintenance are filled with certified, high-caliber talent.
Onboarding & Evolution: Manage the full employee lifecycle, from structured onboarding and probation confirmations to internal transfers, promotions, and exit interviews.
Policy Governance: Implement and audit HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure JCI’s guidelines are applied consistently across all business units.
2. Performance, Payroll & Regulatory Compliance
Performance Excellence: Coordinate the annual performance appraisal cycle, providing management with data-driven insights to support merit-based growth.
Remuneration & Benefits: Oversee the integrity of payroll preparation, leave administration, and attendance tracking with a focus on "zero-error" financial accuracy.
Legal Stewardship: Act as the primary custodian of Labour Law compliance, ensuring all contracts, statutory filings, and internal controls meet national and industry-specific regulations.
3. Employee Relations & Administrative Oversight
Advisory & Conflict Resolution: Handle disciplinary matters and employee grievances with high confidentiality, serving as a trusted advisor to both staff and management.
Document Control: Maintain an impeccable system for employee records, professional certifications, and contracts—critical for JCI’s industry audits.
Operational Admin: Oversee essential administrative functions to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the corporate office and support site-based operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR and administrative experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas or Engineering sectors.
Certification: Active membership in a recognized professional body (e.g., CIPM, HRCI, SHRM).
Technical IQ: High proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) is a significant advantage.
Core Competencies
Labour Law Expertise: Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment laws and HR best practices.
Organizational Agility: Ability to multitask and prioritize technical HR needs under tight deadlines.
