Job Description:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to coordinate our medical services and ensure the seamless operation of our facility. In this role, you will be the bridge between clinical workflows and administrative efficiency. You will manage essential office functions, from inventory and budgeting to staff scheduling and regulatory compliance, ensuring our medical team can focus on delivering high-quality patient care.

Requirements:

  • Operational Management: Liaise with medical staff to identify and implement operational efficiencies. Create staff work schedules and ensure the facility runs smoothly on a daily basis.

  • Resource & Inventory Control: Track medical and office supply stock levels. Monitor facility budgets, maintain detailed records of expenses, and proactively suggest cost-minimization strategies.

  • Records & Data Integrity: Maintain accurate medical and staff records. Update patient health records, including admissions data and insurance information, ensuring data is organized and accessible.

  • Compliance & Communication: Ensure full compliance with current healthcare regulations and medical laws. Act as the primary point of contact for doctors, nurses, and patients, providing clear answers and support for their queries.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare regular financial reports to support management decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: B.Sc. Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration, with a formal qualification in the healthcare field.

  • Experience: Proven experience working as a Healthcare Administrator, Medical Office Manager, or in a relevant administrative role.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and medical law.

    • Understanding of medical terminology.

    • Proficiency in administrative and accounting procedures.

    • Advanced familiarity with databases and spreadsheets (especially MS Excel).

  • Core Competencies:

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

    • Excellent communication skills with a proactive, problem-solving attitude.

Salary

N200,000 - N220,000 per month.
