Job Description:
Retail Store Operations Management:
Oversee daily store operations including opening, closing, and end-of-day procedures.
Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandise displays to boost sales.
Monitor inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers.
Ensure store cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising standards are consistently met.
Staff Supervision and Team Management:
Supervise and lead sales associates, cashiers, and support staff for optimal performance.
Manage employee schedules and assign daily work tasks efficiently.
Conduct staff training on product knowledge, sales strategies, and exceptional customer service.
Address staff performance issues and provide actionable feedback to enhance productivity.
Customer Experience and Service Excellence:
Deliver a high-quality customer experience and ensure exceptional in-store service.
Resolve customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to the shopping experience.
Support promotional campaigns, seasonal sales, and in-store events to drive revenue.
Sales Performance and Reporting:
Track and analyze daily sales performance, providing insights to management.
Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and expense management.
Prepare weekly sales reports, operational summaries, and performance analytics.
Collaborate with marketing and promotions teams to execute sales campaigns effectively.
Requirements:
- Good leadership and team coordination abilities
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS systems)
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced retail environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3-5 years of retail management or supervisory experience
- Experience in large retail stores or similar environment preferred.
