Job Description:
Funtay, a dynamic energy company operating across the upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors, is seeking a professional and versatile Front Desk and Administrative Officer for our Lagos office. You will be the face of our organization and the operational backbone of our daily activities. This role is ideal for an organized, proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at balancing administrative support, HR coordination, and executive assistance. Requirements:
Front Office Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for the company; manage incoming calls, welcome visitors, and ensure a professional, welcoming front office experience at all times.
Office Administration: Coordinate daily office operations, including vendor liaison, facility management, and the timely procurement of office supplies.
HR Support: Assist in HR functions, including maintaining accurate employee records, tracking attendance/leave, and coordinating onboarding documentation for new hires.
Executive Assistance: Provide PA support to management, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, and drafting official correspondence and memos.
Document & Information Management: Receive/sort mail and courier packages, and maintain a highly organized physical and digital filing system for all administrative and HR records.
Logistics & Coordination: Assist in planning company events, staff meetings, and internal activities; ensure the office environment remains clean, organized, and professional.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professionalism: Strong commitment to maintaining a professional image and delivering high-quality front-desk service.
Organizational Skills: Exceptional ability to multitask and manage competing priorities, from facility management to HR documentation.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear memos and handle inquiries with discretion.
Tech Proficiency: Competence in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) to manage files, calendars, and communications.
Proactivity: A self-starter who can anticipate the needs of management and take initiative in ensuring office efficiency.
