Job Description:

  • The Sales Representative is OnePipe’s first line of engagement in business customer onboarding journey.
  • Tasked with identifying and converting prospective business customers, the rep physically visits potential targets, initiates discussions with administrators and decision-makers, pitches the relevant OnePipe products, and manages documentation collection.
  • This role requires someone who is persuasive, professional, and persistent.
  • A strong rep is one who thrives in the field, manages leads independently, and sees each opportunity through to successful verification handoff.
  • The representative also plays a supporting role in organizing and participating in weekly market awareness campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Conversion:

  • Identify businesses and customer segment clusters within your assigned territory.
  • Secure appointments with decision-makers through proactive engagement.
  • Present the relevant OnePipe products and address objections or hesitations.

Documentation and Onboarding:

  • Collect all required KYB documentation: registration details, consent forms, contact information, etc.
  • Ensure every form submitted is complete, legible, and signed.
  • Submit documentation to the Team Lead for verification handoff.

Verification Preparation

  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the relevant verification teams; schedule verification calls.
  • Follow up with customers who delay in responding to verification or workshop invitations.

Sales Storm Participation and Office Presence

  • Attend 100% of the scheduled market storms each week.
  • Attend physical office days (minimum twice weekly) for training, debriefs, and reporting.
  • Provide real-time feedback from the field to improve team performance.

Reporting and Follow-up

  • Maintain accurate records of all prospects, including contact logs, objections, conversion stage, and follow-up actions.
  • Submit your weekly activity tracker and pipeline report to the Team Lead every Friday.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales, customer acquisition, or field marketing.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage unfamiliar contacts professionally.
  • Willingness to be on the field 80% of the time and meet physical reporting requirements.
  • Must own a smartphone and be comfortable using digital tools for lead tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed field-based targets.
  • Basic understanding of business registration documents and compliance requirements.
