Job Description:

Are you an analytical professional with a passion for energy efficiency? We are looking for an Energy Management Officer to join our team in Ibadan. This role is focused on optimizing energy consumption, reducing operational costs, and ensuring the reliability of power systems across our facilities.

You will be responsible for conducting high-level network analysis of energy usage and implementing strategies to improve power quality and sustainability.

Requirements:

Energy Analysis & Network Optimization

• Network Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of energy usage patterns across the grid/facility to identify inefficiencies.

• Load Monitoring: Monitor power demand and distribution to ensure effective load balancing and system stability.

• Energy Auditing: Conduct regular energy audits to track consumption trends and recommend cost-saving measures.

• Data Reporting: Collect and interpret meter data to prepare comprehensive energy performance reports for management.

Operational Efficiency & Sustainability

• Efficiency Projects: Develop and oversee initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprints and optimizing utility costs.

• System Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to energy leaks, power surges, or equipment inefficiency.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all energy systems meet national standards and local environmental regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Energy Management, Physics, or a related technical field.

• Technical Skills: * Proven experience in Energy Network Analysis.

  • Familiarity with energy monitoring software and smart metering systems.

  • Strong understanding of power distribution systems and renewable energy integration.

• Analytical Skills: Advanced ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into actionable energy strategies.

• Location: Candidates must be resident in or willing to relocate to Ibadan, Oyo State.
