Job Description:

Are you a high-achieving engineering graduate with a passion for business? We are looking for the next generation of Technical Sales Specialists to join our expansion across West Africa.

This is not a traditional "desk engineering" job. You will be trained to bridge the gap between complex mechanical engineering and high-stakes commercial negotiations. You will learn to identify technical needs for major industrial and marine clients and provide solutions centered on large-bore diesel engines, power generation, and specialized MRO services.

 

 

What you will do (The Training Path)

  • Technical Immersion: Spend your first months learning the "guts" of marine and industrial engines, understanding spare parts, and mastering technical specifications.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct research on key accounts and industrial projects within the West African sub-region.
  • Client Engagement: Shadow senior engineers and directors in high-level client meetings, site visits, and refinery/port inspections.
  • Solution Scoping: Learn to translate a client's operational problem into a technical proposal and a commercial quote.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Learn to use CRM tools to track leads from initial contact to contract signing.

 

Requirements:

  • Education: A recent B.Eng or B.Sc in Mechanical, Marine, or Electrical Engineering (Minimum of 2:1 or Upper Credit).
  • Completed NYSC: Not more than 3 Years Post-NYSC work experience (or about to complete NYSC).
  • The "Sales DNA": You must be outgoing, persuasive, and comfortable presenting to groups.
  • Resilience: The ability to navigate the unique challenges of the West African business landscape with grit and professionalism.
  • Mobility: A willingness to travel within Nigeria and West Africa for client meetings and project site visits.
  • Analytical Mind: You should be able to look at a complex machine and a budget sheet and see how they fit together.
