We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

  • We are seeking for a motivated and detail-oriented E-Commerce Sales Executive to join our growing team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing online sales platforms, driving revenue through digital channels, and ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of e-commerce tools and platforms, and a sales-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Business Head to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
  • Educates the sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
  • Participate in sales promotion and trade show expenses.
  • Manage listings and product catalogs across e-commerce platforms such as Jumia, Konga, Amazon, Shopify, and others.
  • Monitor and optimize product content, pricing, and promotions to increase visibility and sales.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute online campaigns and product launches.
  • Track and analyze sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to drive continuous improvement.
  • Handle order processing, inventory coordination, and ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Generate weekly/monthly reports on e-commerce performance and suggest improvements.
  • Work closely with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3 - 6 years of experience in e-commerce sales or digital retail sales.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Jumia, Konga. etc.).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and sales analytics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
  • Experience with advertising tools like Jumia Ads or Google Shopping.
  • Knowledge of SEO/SEM practices.
  • Prior experience in a fast-paced consumer goods or retail environment.
