Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and entering clinical and demographic patient data into our mission database, ensuring data quality, reliability, and strict confidentiality to support our medical team’s decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Data Management: Accurately enter medical data (patient records, prescriptions, viral loads, etc.) into the mission database in a timely and efficient manner according to INTERSOS protocols.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular database audits, identify and correct entry errors, and report anomalies to your supervisor immediately.

• Documentation: Assist in the compilation of data from internal and external health facilities and maintain well-organized, up-to-date patient files.

• Reporting & Security: Generate statistical reports as requested by the medical team and ensure regular, secure backups of all processed data.

• Confidentiality: Strictly adhere to protocols to promote and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: BA/BSc degree in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience in the MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) function.

• Experience: At least 2 years of work experience in a data management role within an NGO. Previous experience in health data management is a strong asset.

• Skills: Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel) and an aptitude for learning new software systems.

• Personal Attributes: Results-oriented, flexible, service-oriented, and a strong team player committed to INTERSOS principles.

• Languages: Local language proficiency is essential.
