Job Description:

Are you a data-driven professional who enjoys blending office-based analysis with on-ground field insights? We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team on a contract basis.

This role is critical for driving strategic decisions and operational improvements across multiple projects. Unlike traditional desk roles, this position requires interstate travel to collect primary data, monitor project performance, and provide direct support to our regional teams in Lagos and Kwara.

Requirements:

Data Management & Field Operations

  • End-to-End Data Handling: Collect, clean, and transform raw data from various sources and field locations into actionable insights.

  • On-Ground Verification: Support regional teams with physical data collection and on-site verification to ensure data integrity.

  • Travel & Monitoring: Travel frequently between Lagos and Kwara to monitor project KPIs and provide real-time analytical support.

Analysis & Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain automated dashboards and reports to track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Trend Analysis: Identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies in project data to provide strategic recommendations.

  • Visualization: Present complex findings to stakeholders using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.

Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and security of all organizational data.

  • Support internal audits by providing well-documented data sets and analytical reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of HND or B.Sc. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or any related field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or in a similar field-based analytical role.

  • Technical Skills:

    • High proficiency in Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Power Query).

    • Strong command of SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

    • Hands-on experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau).

    • Knowledge of Python or R is a significant advantage.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with extreme attention to detail.

    • Excellent presentation skills—ability to "tell a story" with data.

    • Mobility: Must be willing and available to travel interstate frequently as part of the core job function.
