Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and data-aware Content Creator to serve as the visual and verbal voice of our brand in Lagos. In a digital landscape saturated with noise, the Content Creator is a "Visual Storyteller" who cuts through the clutter by blending artistic intuition with technical SEO precision. This role is designed for a "Multimedia Specialist" who can produce diverse assets, from high-energy TikToks to deep-dive blog posts, while ensuring every piece of content serves a specific marketing objective.
Your mission is to ensure "Brand Authority and Audience Growth." You will be responsible for the entire content lifecycle: from trend-spotting and ideation to post-production editing and performance analytics. If you possess "Creative Grit" and the ability to tailor narratives for different platform algorithms, we want you to drive our digital presence.
Requirements:
1. Ideation, Strategy & Multi-Platform Management
Trend Intelligence: Research trending topics and brainstorm creative concepts that align with organizational marketing goals and current cultural moments.
Content Architecture: Develop and maintain structured content calendars, ensuring a consistent and balanced flow of information across YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
Platform Specialization: Tailor content formats specifically for each platform’s unique audience behavior—adapting long-form insights for LinkedIn and short-form engagement for Reels/TikTok.
2. Multimedia Production & Technical Refinement
End-to-End Production: Create high-quality multimedia assets, including blog posts, social media graphics, video content, podcasts, and infographics.
Post-Production Excellence: Edit videos and images for professional clarity, ensuring all assets adhere to brand guidelines, color palettes, and tone of voice.
Quality Governance: Proofread and refine all text-based content to ensure it is grammatically perfect, clear, and engaging.
3. Optimization, SEO & Data Analytics
Visibility Engineering: Implement advanced SEO techniques, including strategic keyword research and meta-description optimization, to maximize organic reach and searchability.
Performance Auditing: Utilize analytics tools to track web traffic, social media reach, and audience engagement, using this data to pivot strategies for future campaigns.
Collaborative Synergy: Work closely with the design, marketing, and product teams to ensure all content is integrated into broader cross-functional campaigns.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Creative Arts, or a related field.
Experience: Proven portfolio of content creation (Video, Writing, or Design) with a clear understanding of social media algorithms.
Software Mastery: Proficiency in editing suites (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Canva, CapCut, Photoshop) and SEO tools.
Core Competencies
Creative Grit: Ability to produce high-quality work under the constraints of a part-time schedule and fast-moving trends.
Analytical Precision: The ability to interpret data metrics and translate them into improved creative output.
