Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled, compassionate, and board-certified Consultant Gynecologist to join our clinical team in Lagos. You will play a pivotal role in providing expert obstetric and gynecological care, leading our clinical efforts in patient diagnostics, treatment, and surgical intervention.

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong interest or specialization in Fertility/ART (Assisted Reproductive Technology) and HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound). Requirements:

  • Clinical Excellence: Provide comprehensive consultation, diagnosis, and treatment for a wide range of gynecological and obstetric conditions.

  • Surgical Leadership: Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures with the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.

  • Fertility & Reproductive Health: Develop and oversee specialized treatment plans for patients seeking fertility support and ART services.

  • Advanced Technology: Utilize state-of-the-art medical equipment, including the application of HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) for non-invasive treatment where applicable.

  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our nursing, laboratory, and administrative teams to ensure a seamless, patient-centered care experience.

  • Patient Advocacy: Communicate complex medical information clearly and empathetically, ensuring patients are well-informed and comfortable throughout their care journey.

  • Clinical Governance: Participate in clinical audits, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure adherence to institutional and national medical guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualifications: Must possess FWACS (Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons) or FMCOG (Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria - Obstetrics and Gynaecology) or an equivalent specialist qualification.

  • Licensure: Must hold a current, valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).

  • Experience: * Proven experience in a consultant role.

    • A demonstrated interest or hands-on experience in fertility/ART services is highly preferred.

    • Familiarity with HIFU technology is a strong advantage.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Clinical Expertise: Ability to manage high-risk cases and perform complex gynecological procedures.

    • Communication: Exceptional bedside manner with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients during sensitive medical journeys.
