Established on October 1, 2004, the organization has actively engaged in a multitude of developmental programs spanning Health, Education, and Socioeconomic development. These initiatives are specifically designed to benefit children, women, young people, and communities, with the overarching goal of bringing smiles to faces. Job Description:

  • Mobilize and sensitize communities for effective participation in LHI projects.

  • Act as a focal point for community liaison, ensuring trust, transparency, and accountability.

  • Organize community meetings, focus group discussions, and forums to gather feedback and promote inclusiveness.

  • Support the establishment and strengthening of community-based structures, committees, and volunteers.

  • Facilitate awareness-raising sessions and campaigns on health, education, protection, and rights issues.

  • Ensure that vulnerable groups (women, children, persons with disabilities, and minority groups) are actively engaged in projects.

  • Work closely with local leaders, government representatives, and partner organizations to strengthen collaboration.

  • Document community concerns, feedback, and recommendations, and ensure they are communicated to program teams.

  • Monitor community dynamics, risks, and conflict sensitivities that may affect project implementation.

  • Support monitoring & evaluation (M&E) teams with community-level data collection and reporting.

  • Uphold LHI’s safeguarding, protection, and accountability standards in all community interactions.
