Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Scholarship Support Coordinator to join our team in Lagos on a volunteer basis. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in opening doors to education by managing our scholarship administration processes. You will serve as the primary liaison between applicants and our organization, ensuring that the application, review, and selection process is smooth, transparent, and efficient. Requirements:

  • Application Management: Oversee the end-to-end scholarship application cycle, from publicizing open calls to collecting and organizing applicant documentation.

  • Administrative Coordination: Screen applications for completeness, maintain accurate applicant databases, and ensure all records are kept confidential and organized.

  • Communication Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for scholarship inquiries, providing timely and professional responses to applicants via email and phone.

  • Selection Support: Assist the review committee in organizing assessment materials, scheduling interviews, and documenting the selection process.

  • Reporting: Prepare periodic progress reports and summaries of applicant demographics and selection outcomes for organizational review.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and suggest ways to streamline our application or communication workflows to better serve prospective students.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Relevant academic qualification (e.g., Degree or HND in Education, Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field).

  • Experience: Previous experience in program coordination, administrative support, or educational advisory roles is highly preferred.
