This role is designed for a meticulous professional who can manage high-volume transactions—from sales invoicing to inter-company reconciliations—with absolute precision.
You will be the "Custodian of Records," ensuring that our cash books, vendor accounts, and tax schedules are always audit-ready. If you have hands-on experience in a manufacturing or shipping agency environment and are proficient in global accounting ERPs, we invite you to anchor our finance department.
Requirements:
1. Financial Transaction Management
Ledger Governance: Maintain the cash and bank books with daily updates, ensuring all sales and purchase entries are accurately captured in the accounting system (Tally, Sage, or SAP).
Invoicing & Analysis: Prepare sales invoices and credit notes, providing detailed sales summary analysis to track revenue performance.
Payment Processing: Prepare bank payment vouchers and manage vendor/customer account reconciliations to ensure healthy cash flow and creditor relations.
2. Compliance & Inter-Company Synergy
Tax Stewardship: Prepare rigorous schedules for statutory returns, including VAT and Withholding Taxes (WHT), ensuring timely filing and compliance.
Inter-Company Harmony: Conduct complex inter-company reconciliations to ensure financial alignment across different business units or agencies.
Regulatory Liaison: Represent the firm during essential visits to banks and tax offices to maintain corporate compliance and resolve documentation queries.
3. Audit Readiness & Document Ownership
Audit Preparation: Take full ownership of document upkeeping and the preparation of audit schedules, ensuring the firm is "audit-ready" at all times.
Strategic Aid: Support internal and external auditors by providing clear explanations, organized filing, and prompt document retrieval during review periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: BSc or MSc in Accounting.
Software Mastery: Mandatory proficiency in MS Office and at least one core accounting ERP: Tally, Sage, or SAP.
Experience: Previous work experience in a Manufacturing Unit or Shipping Agency is essential for understanding the operational nuances of the role.
Core Competencies
Numerical Accuracy: A high degree of precision in data entry and bank reconciliations.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage physical and digital filing systems for easy audit retrieval.
