  • Ledger Integrity: Manage all general ledger and journal entries, performing rigorous monthly reconciliations to ensure 100% data accuracy.

  • Cash Flow Stewardship: Monitor daily cash inflows and outflows, ensuring the liquidity required for ongoing property operations and corporate needs.

2. Real Estate Project Accounting & Budgeting

  • Project Monitoring: Record and verify complex transactions related to property acquisitions, sales, leases, and facility maintenance costs.

  • Budgetary Architecture: Support the development of forecasts and monitor actual spend against budgets for specific real estate developments.

  • Asset Tracking: Maintain detailed records of property-related expenses to provide a clear view of the Return on Investment (ROI) for individual assets.

3. Compliance, Tax & Audit Readiness

  • Tax Governance: Assist in the preparation of tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT), ensuring strict adherence to Nigerian tax laws and FIRS/FCT-IRS regulations.

  • Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all financial processes comply with IFRS standards and internal company policies.

  • Audit Leadership: Organize financial records and prepare supporting documentation to ensure smooth and successful internal and external audits.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Experience: 1–2 years of professional accounting experience. Prior experience in the Real Estate or Property Management sector is highly preferred.

  • Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Nigerian financial principles, tax regulations, and accounting standards.

Core Competencies
