Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant with expertise in a transprotation company The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple financial activities efficiently.

Requirements:

Financial & Accounting Operations:

• Perform bank & cash reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Manage petty cash vouchers and oversee cash-related transactions.
• Post payment entries (petty cash, bank payments, and receipts).
• Handle cheque payments and submit financial documents to banks.
• Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets.
• Coordinate with management and staff to prepare budgets.
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
• Resolve accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
• Handle the financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
• Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
• Develop monthly financial statements that include cash flow, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A Chartered member of the ICAN institute
• Minimum 4 years of cognate experience in finance and accounting.
• Proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and tax compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in import/export finance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
