Job Description:

We are seeking a future-focused Video Editor who lives at the intersection of traditional cinema and Generative AI. This is a role for a visual storyteller who understands that AI isn't a replacement for creativity, but a massive force multiplier for speed and imagination.

As our AI Video Specialist, you will be responsible for producing high-retention content for YouTube and viral short-form assets for TikTok/Reels. You will leverage a sophisticated stack of generative tools—from Runway Gen-2 to Topaz—to create visual effects that were previously impossible or too time-consuming. If you can turn a text script into a cinematic experience using an AI-augmented workflow, we want to see your portfolio.

Requirements:

1. Multi-Format Content Engineering

• Long-Form Mastery: Edit engaging YouTube episodes, maintaining pace and viewer retention through creative B-roll and AI-enhanced storytelling.

• Vertical Growth: Produce high-impact Reels, TikToks, and Shorts that leverage trending audio and "scroll-stopping" AI visual hooks.

• Rapid Prototyping: Transform raw text scripts into preliminary video assets or visual storyboards using generative AI tools.

2. AI Enhancement & Post-Production

• Technical Polishing: Utilize AI for automated color grading, noise reduction, and professional audio mixing via tools like Adobe Podcast.

• Generative FX: Use Generative Fill and AI visual effects to extend sets, remove objects, or create entirely new assets that don't exist in the raw footage.

• Automated Accessibility: Implement smart auto-captioning and dynamic typography to maximize engagement in sound-off environments.

3. Asset Optimization & Quality Control

• Upscaling & Restoration: Use Topaz Video AI to enhance the resolution and frame rate of legacy or low-quality assets.

• Voice Synthesis: Integrate ElevenLabs for high-fidelity voiceovers, dubbing, or character narration.

• Brand Integrity: Ensure all AI-generated content remains consistent with the brand’s visual identity and avoids "uncanny valley" pitfalls.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Media, Film, Graphics, or a related field.

• Experience: 2 – 5 years of work experience in video editing with a proven portfolio of AI-integrated projects.

• Mindset: Proactive researcher who stays updated on the weekly shifts in the AI video landscape.

The Advanced Toolset

• Core Editing: Adobe Premiere Pro (Firefly), CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Generative Video: Runway Gen-2, Pika Labs, or Sora (where applicable).

• Enhancement: Topaz Video AI, Adobe Podcast, ElevenLabs.
