Job Description:
We are seeking a high-precision Lead UI/UX Designer to architect the visual and functional blueprint of the MarketEdge CRM platform. This is a documentation-centric leadership role designed for an expert who excels at eliminating ambiguity. You will be the "Single Source of Truth" for our engineering team, translating high-level product visions into pixel-perfect wireframes, robust design systems (based on Ant Design), and exhaustive functional specifications.
If you are a master of Figma, a devotee of Design Tokens, and a strategist who can design complex B2C/B2B ecosystems (like Customer 360 and Loyalty Modules) while considering the technical constraints of a React environment, we want you to lead our design-to-development pipeline.
Requirements:
1. High-Fidelity Wireframing & Blueprinting
Architecture & Flow: Develop low-fidelity sketches and comprehensive user journey maps to align stakeholders, followed by high-fidelity, annotated wireframes for every screen state (empty, error, loading, success).
CRM Module Design: Architect core interfaces including Segment Builders (visual query constructors), Campaign Wizards, and Customer 360 Profiles with tabbed, data-heavy sections.
Responsive Strategy: Define exact breakpoints and component behaviors for mobile, tablet, and desktop views to ensure a seamless experience across the diverse East and West African device landscape.
2. Design System Governance (Ant Design Focus)
Component Library Mastery: Build and maintain a Figma library mirroring our React/Ant Design implementation. Customize standard components while designing unique widgets for Journey Canvases and Edge Card loyalty tracking.
Design Tokens & Scalability: Establish a rigorous token system for colors (e.g., #1E3A5F Navy, #0D9488 Teal), typography scales, and elevation systems to ensure visual consistency across all modules.
Pattern Standards: Define reusable patterns for data tables, advanced filter bars, and multi-step forms to accelerate development and reduce cognitive load for users.
3. Technical Documentation & Developer Handoff
Functional Design Documents (FDDs): Write unambiguous specifications detailing every interaction, form validation rule, and conditional UI logic based on user roles (Cashier vs. Marketing Manager).
Interaction Specs: Document micro-interactions, animation durations, and transitions using duration and easing functions that developers can implement directly.
Implementation Liaison: Serve as the bridge to Frontend and Full Stack developers, conducting handoff sessions and reviewing implemented code for design accuracy.
Qualifications and Skills:
Technical & Design Profile
Experience: 4+ years of UI/UX design for Enterprise SaaS or complex web applications.
Figma Expert: Advanced mastery of Auto-layout, Variants, and Components is non-negotiable.
Technical Literacy: Strong understanding of React component architecture, CSS Flexbox/Grid, and Ant Design constraints.
Documentation Rigor: Proven ability to write technical specifications that eliminate implementation guesswork.
Domain Knowledge (Preferred)
Experience with CRM/ERP systems and marketing automation.
Understanding of loyalty mechanics (points, tiers) and omnichannel communication.
Familiarity with the African business context and the IDURAR framework is a massive plus.
