Senior Wealth Manager (HNI & Private Banking)
We are looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Wealth Manager to lead high-value customer acquisition and portfolio growth. In this role, you will manage large-ticket portfolios for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNI) and the upper-mass market, driving sustainable revenue through expert financial advisory and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
HNI Client Acquisition: Proactively source, onboard, and manage a portfolio of affluent and high-value clients to meet aggressive monthly business targets.
Portfolio & Relationship Management: Provide bespoke financial advisory services, conducting regular portfolio reviews to optimize asset allocation and client retention.
Strategic Business Development: Lead initiatives to grow deposits, investment products, and structured wealth solutions.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a lead for the Wealth team, providing coaching, performance support, and market insights to junior Wealth Managers and Analysts.
Revenue Generation: Drive consistent monthly revenue through investment sales, credit-linked wealth products, and SME-linked financial offerings.
Compliance & Risk: Ensure 100% adherence to regulatory guidelines, including AML/CFT, CBN standards, and strict KYC documentation.
Performance Analytics: Utilize CRM tools to track business updates, portfolio performance, and client engagement metrics.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 6–10+ years of proven success in Wealth Management, Funds Mobilization, Private Banking, or Affluent Banking.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet large-scale monthly targets and maintain a 80%+ month-on-month customer retention rate.
Network: An existing, robust network within the affluent and business communities.
Digital Proficiency: Strong experience leveraging digital banking platforms for customer acquisition and retention.
Core Competencies: Advanced financial acumen, strategic thinking, and expert-level negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
