We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The Finance Manager would oversee our financial operations and support informed decision-making as we scale.
• This role is critical to ensuring financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization.
• The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting experience, be highly self-driven, and possess the ability to manage payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day financial accounting operations, including bookkeeping, general ledger, and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts
• Oversee payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely payment of staff salaries and statutory deductions
• Manage tax compliance and reporting, including PAYE, VAT, WHT, and other statutory filings
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and expense controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities as required
• Provide financial insights to management to support business growth and strategic decisions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a financial accounting or finance management role
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA) is an added advantage
• Experience working in an e-commerce, retail, or fast-paced business environment is a plus

• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage payroll and statutory tax reporting
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Self-led, proactive, and highly motivated with the ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organization.
