Job Description:
Provide strategic direction on broadband business planning, performance monitoring, and propositions analysis.
Ensure accurate application of business rules during budgeting and forecasting for broadband performance.
Monitor and measure the performance of broadband propositions, promotions, and activities against the business plan, providing timely feedback to senior management.
Develop and implement competitive broadband strategies for MTN Broadband products, solutions, and value propositions.
Oversee business performance reporting metrics, including subscribers, revenue, margins, and churn, across all key segments.
Define and manage the Broadband Segment customer lifecycle management (CLM) framework in collaboration with segment managers.
Safeguard the integrity of broadband financial modeling projects and ensure accuracy in all reporting.
Conduct quality assurance on business plans, product analysis, and performance data to support decision-making.
Review and assess competitive pricing scenarios to guide market positioning.
Execute strategies for effective broadband market penetration using existing sales and distribution channels.
Oversee sales activation initiatives at key retail points to drive product uptake.
Identify and develop new business opportunities through product launches, market growth, innovation, process reviews, and audits.
Provide strategic guidance on optimal broadband pricing strategies and models.
Ensure integration of quality management processes into business performance management for consistency and efficiency.
Coach and mentor direct reports to align departmental goals, improve performance, and identify training needs.
Conduct regular performance reviews and appraisals in line with company procedures and timelines.
Requirements:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or any related Social Science discipline.
Master’s degree, preferably an MBA, is an added advantage.
Fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is preferred.
Experience
9–17 years of professional experience, including:
At least 5 years in a managerial role, with a minimum of 3 years in a relevant sector or industry.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in business performance reporting, financial analysis, and business development.
Experience working across diverse cultures and geographies is an advantage.
