Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Senior Financial Officer to anchor the financial engine of the Group CFO’s office. In the specialized landscape of Nigerian Insurance and Group-level finance, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize multi-subsidiary operations with the clinical precision required for IFRS Compliance, Life & General Insurance Accounting, and Strategic Forecasting. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with at least 10 years of progressive experience who can blend "Technical Grit" (mastering ERP and BI platforms) with the "Strategic Agility" required to drive executive decision-making.

Requirements:

1. Group Orchestration & IFRS Governance

• Reporting Sovereignty: Oversee group financial reporting with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of IFRS Fidelity."

• Subsidiary Architecture: Manage financial operations across the group and its subsidiaries, providing the "Structural Foundation" for consolidated fiscal health.

• Compliance Stewardship: Ensure 100% adherence to financial regulations and corporate governance, ensuring the "Source of Statutory Integrity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Insurance Logic

• Strategic Sovereignty: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes, acting as the primary "Source of Future Financial Visibility."

• Insurance Architecture: Apply specialized knowledge in Life and General Insurance accounting, providing the "Functional Foundation" for sector-specific reporting.

• Analytical Stewardship: Provide high-level financial insights for executive decision-making, maintaining the "Source of Strategic Intelligence."

3. Operational Integrity & Digital Power

• Data Sovereignty: Utilize ERP systems and BI platforms to streamline group data, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Efficiency."

• Corporate Architecture: Support the Group CFO in managing high-stakes financial operations, providing the "Executive Foundation" for group-wide stability.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in financial management.

• Mandatory Certification: Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA) or a CFA charterholder.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (MBA is an advantage).

• Sector Expertise: High preference for experience in Life and General Insurance accounting.
