Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Showroom Manager to lead our flagship operations in Victoria Island. In this role, you will be the guardian of the brand experience, responsible for transforming a luxury showroom into a high-performance sales engine.

The ideal candidate is a "Selling Manager"—someone who can mentor a sales team to hit ambitious targets while personally ensuring that showroom aesthetics, inventory logistics, and customer service remain world-class. If you have 4–6 years of experience in luxury retail or furniture and a passion for interior design, we want you to lead our growth.

Requirements:

1. Sales Leadership & Business Development

  • Revenue Growth: Implement aggressive business development goals to drive foot traffic and high-value sales conversions.

  • Performance Intelligence: Meet monthly sales targets and provide detailed reports on performance metrics, lead conversion rates, and seasonal trends.

  • Expert Consultation: Use deep product and design knowledge to demonstrate merchandise features, helping clients visualize interior solutions in their spaces.

2. Operational & Supply Chain Excellence

  • Inventory & Procurement: Coordinate with suppliers to manage stock levels and liaise with sales staff to ensure new furniture orders are placed proactively.

  • Logistics Oversight: Manage the end-to-end delivery process, ensuring customers receive their furniture on time and in pristine condition.

  • Multi-Showroom Monitoring: Oversee the operational standards across all showroom locations to ensure brand consistency and service quality.

3. Brand Experience & Team Mentorship

  • Visual Merchandising: Optimize showroom layout and product placement to enhance the "walk-through" experience and highlight hero pieces.

  • Team Development: Train and mentor showroom staff in high-end sales techniques, product technicalities, and professional etiquette.

  • Service Recovery: Handle complex customer queries and complaints with grace, turning challenges into opportunities for brand loyalty.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field.

  • Experience: 4 – 6 years of proven experience in retail management, specifically in a supervisory role within the furniture or luxury home goods sector.

  • Technical IQ: Proficiency in retail POS systems and CRM software; ability to provide detailed product solutions via email.

Core Competencies

  • Design Savvy: Ability to speak fluently about furniture materials, design styles, and interior aesthetics.

  • Leadership: A proven track record of managing and motivating sales teams in a target-driven environment.

  • Logistical Precision: Strong coordination skills to manage deliveries and supplier timelines in the Lagos market.
