Job Description:
- We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with proven experience in generator sales to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base within Lagos and surrounding areas.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience selling generators and a strong understanding of the power solutions market, including residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell a range of generators (diesel, petrol, and industrial power solutions) to new and existing clients.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within target markets such as construction, manufacturing, commercial businesses, and estates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, facility managers, and corporate organizations.
- Conduct client visits, product presentations, and site assessments to recommend suitable generator solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals effectively.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Provide after-sales support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the generator and power solutions industry.
- Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure proper installation and maintenance support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.
Requirements:
- HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2 - 5 years experience in generator sales (Mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of generator products, specifications, and applications.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Existing network within industries such as construction, manufacturing, or facility management is a strong advantage.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
- Ability to work independently and manage sales pipelines effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic CRM tools.
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
Salary
