Job Description:

• You work from your own location day-to-day, with field visits to client sites across Lagos as needed.
• We are hiring on behalf of a leading Chinese technology company for a hands-on Field Test Engineer specializing in router systems, 5G CPE, and FTTR (Fiber to the Room) deployment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Chinese HQ technical teams, prepare deployment plans, generate field test reports
• On-site installation, configuration, and debugging of router and 5G/FTTR equipment at client locations
• Network performance testing and troubleshooting at enterprise and residential sites
• Maintain equipment documentation and client communication logs
• Support technical demos for pre-sales activities when needed

Requirements:

• Prior work experience at a Nigerian telecom operator (MTN, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile, or equivalent)
• Work experience at a major Chinese tech company (Huawei, ZTE, TP-Link, H3C, or similar) OR proven hands-on experience deploying Chinese-brand networking equipment
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic debugging independently without step-by-step remote guidance
• Practical skills in router configuration, 5G CPE setup, and FTTR fiber distribution
• Familiarity with network testing tools and standard protocols
• Valid driver's license; willing to travel across Lagos and surrounding areas
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace.
