Job Description:
We are seeking a high-caliber Restaurant Manager to serve as the strategic and operational heartbeat of our establishment. In the competitive Lagos dining scene, success is defined by the seamless fusion of kitchen efficiency and floor hospitality. This role is designed for a "Service Architect"—someone who can lead a diverse team, manage complex inventory cycles, and drive innovative marketing strategies to increase footfall.
Your mission is to ensure that every guest experience is flawless while maintaining strict cost controls and operational standards. You will be responsible for the entire restaurant lifecycle—from staff coaching and shift optimization to financial reporting and waste minimization. If you possess strong leadership grit and a deep understanding of food service operations, we want you to lead our team.
Requirements:
1. Full-Spectrum Operational Governance
Dual Oversight: Manage daily operations across both the Front-of-House (service) and Back-of-House (kitchen) to ensure synchronized delivery.
Service Standards: Guarantee the delivery of excellent customer service, implementing loyalty initiatives to turn first-time diners into regulars.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment, ensuring all health and safety regulations are strictly followed.
2. Performance & Growth Engineering
Revenue Generation: Develop and execute restaurant-level marketing activities and innovative strategies to boost sales and productivity.
Conflict Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professional diplomacy, turning potential negative experiences into opportunities for recovery.
Gap Analysis: Monitor real-time operations to identify performance gaps and implement immediate corrective actions.
3. Human Capital & Financial Stewardship
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and evaluate team members, fostering a high-performance culture through effective shift supervision.
Cost & Waste Control: Manage inventory and forecast needs to ensure supply availability while implementing aggressive waste-reduction measures.
Fiscal Reporting: Utilize sound financial management skills to monitor budgets, manage expenses, and provide accurate performance reports to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: B.Sc. or HND in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in Customer Service is essential; experience as a Restaurant Manager or Supervisor is a significant advantage.
Domain Expertise: A solid understanding of food preparation, restaurant software (POS), and floor management.
