Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite QA/QC Manager to anchor the construction and maintenance engine of our Port Harcourt operations. In the specialized landscape of industrial energy, health, and water infrastructure, success is defined by "Quality Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex fabrication with the clinical precision required for ASME/AWS Standards, NDE Oversight, and Welder Database Management. This role is designed for a "Structural Architect" with 5+ years of experience who can blend "Mechanical Grit" (overseeing visual inspections and 3rd party NDE) with the "Strategic Agility" required to implement Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) processes.

Requirements:

1. QMS Orchestration & Compliance Governance

• Quality Sovereignty: Oversee project quality to ensure 100% compliance with codes, regulations, and equipment specifications, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Certainty."

• System Architecture: Develop and implement the QMS for planning, fabrication, and documentation, providing the "Structural Foundation" for all operational activities.

• Integrity Stewardship: Manage plant integrity through failure analysis reporting and recommendation follow-ups, ensuring the "Source of Asset Longevity" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Inspection Logic

• Inspection Sovereignty: Manage Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) processes and NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) plans, acting as the primary "Source of Subsurface Integrity."

• Release Architecture: Take full responsibility for hold-point releases, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for equipment to transition into the next work stage.

• Deficiency Stewardship: Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies, maintaining the "Source of Continuous Improvement."

3. Welding Integrity & Performance Power

• Welding Sovereignty: Manage all welding procedures (WPS), qualifications (PQR), and welder testing, acting as the primary "Source of Fusion Excellence."

• Standard Architecture: Provide technical support for ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, AWS, and BS EN, providing the "Visual Foundation" for project-specific technical designs.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of QA/QC expertise to coordinate multiple projects and manage external test laboratories, maximizing the "Source of Project Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar QA/QC leadership role within industrial construction or maintenance.

• Communication: Recognised ability to draft elite engineering reports and memos; Professional English is mandatory.

• Technical Mastery: Deep familiarity with ASME, AWS, and BS EN standards.

• Location: Based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria on a permanent contract.
