Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Officer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects within our mechanical engineering operations.
- The ideal candidate will be fluent in communication, passionate about delivering quality results, and capable of managing multiple project tasks efficiently.
- The role requires someone who can work collaboratively with technical teams, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain strong attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution of mechanical engineering projects.
- Coordinate with engineers, technicians, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Support procurement and logistics coordination for project materials and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Track project performance and escalate potential risks or delays.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings when required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Engineering Management, Project Management, or related field.
- 2–5 years experience in project coordination or engineering project management.
- Experience working in a mechanical engineering, construction, manufacturing, or technical services environment is an advantage.
