Job Description:
We are seeking a methodical and proactive Project Management Officer (PMO) to serve as the backbone of our project delivery ecosystem. In this role, you will transition beyond simple coordination to become a guardian of project governance. You will be responsible for tracking the health of our portfolio, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and standards are met with precision.
Working in a dynamic fintech environment, you will help standardize our project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and streamline reporting to give leadership a clear view of our strategic progress. If you are a documentation enthusiast with a "systems-thinking" mindset and a mastery of tools like JIRA or MS Project, we want you to join our PMO.
Requirements:
1. Project Governance & Methodology Standardisation
Methodology Guardianship: Assist in the implementation and standardisation of project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) and templates across the organization.
Documentation Architecture: Maintain the "single source of truth" for project data, including charters, resource logs, and change control records.
Compliance: Support the enforcement of project governance processes to ensure every initiative aligns with internal policies and strategic goals.
2. Performance Tracking & Portfolio Visibility
Progress Monitoring: Track milestones across multiple workstreams to ensure timely delivery and proactive risk mitigation.
Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present high-impact project dashboards and performance metrics (KPIs) to leadership and stakeholders.
Meeting Facilitation: Organize and lead project review sessions and stakeholder briefings, ensuring that action items are captured and addressed.
3. Risk, Resource & Stakeholder Coordination
Risk Management: Maintain project risk and issue logs, ensuring that bottlenecks are identified and escalated before they impact the critical path.
Cross-functional Liaison: Coordinate with engineering, product, and business teams to ensure resources are allocated effectively and tasks are delivered on time.
Change Control: Support the change management process to ensure that scope creep is managed and documented effectively.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or IT. (Master’s or PMP/PRINCE2 certification is an advantage).
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a project management or PMO support role, preferably within the Fintech or Tech sector.
Methodologies: Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery models.
Technical Competencies
Software Mastery: Proficiency in JIRA, Asana, MS Project, Trello, or Monday.com.
Analytical Rigor: Ability to translate complex project data into clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
