Job Description:
- The Program Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating programs that align with the organization’s mission.
- S/he will work on initiatives that focus on social impact, community development, and public service.
Key Responsible
Program Development and Implementation:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of high-quality programs that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals and donor requirements.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to identify program needs, priorities, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with local contexts and beneficiary needs.
- Oversee program implementation, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Guide and support program staff in planning, executing, and monitoring program activities.
- Cultivate partnerships with local communities, government entities, and other NGOs to enhance program effectiveness and sustainability.
Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning:
- Establish a robust monitoring and evaluation system, facilitating regular collection and analysis of program data and indicators.
- Coordinate evaluations, assessments, and surveys to measure program impact and capture lessons learned.
- Use monitoring and evaluation findings to inform program adjustments, enhance quality, and support evidence-based decision-making.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Oversee the preparation of timely and comprehensive program reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate, timely data collection, analysis, and documentation of program activities and results.
- Work with the Communications team to showcase program successes and share insights with relevant audiences.
Team Management and Capacity Building:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the program team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and identify capacity-building needs for program staff.
Organize training sessions, workshops, and mentoring opportunities to strengthen staff skills and knowledge.
Partnership and Resource Mobilization:
- Identify and build strategic partnerships with local and international organizations to encourage collaboration and resource-sharing.
- Support fundraising efforts by contributing to proposal development, donor engagement, and resource mobilization activities.
