Job Description:
Dispensing Support: Assist the Pharmacist in the preparation and labeling of prescription and OTC medications. Ensure that all packaging is accurate and that prescriptions are filed according to legal standards.
Inventory & Cold Chain Management: Receive and organize pharmaceutical supplies. Monitor stock levels, track expiry dates, and ensure that all medicines are stored under the correct temperature and environmental conditions.
Professional Customer Service: Greet patients professionally, handle inquiries regarding product availability and pricing, and ensure that all clinical questions are promptly directed to the Pharmacist.
Operational Maintenance: Participate in weekly/monthly stock counts, assist with digital inventory updates, and ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and sanitized.
Administrative Accuracy: Maintain precise records of receipts and stock movements while supporting the cashiering process during peak hours.
Ethics & Confidentiality: Strictly follow internal SOPs and pharmacy laws. Maintain 100% confidentiality of patient data and medical records.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of drug names, dosages, and pharmaceutical terminology.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in labeling and counting.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional, empathetic attitude toward patients.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Location: Candidates must currently reside within Cross River State or be ready for immediate relocation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Certificate or Diploma in Pharmacy Technician Studies from a recognized School of Health Technology.
Certification: Must be registered with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) as a Pharmacy Technician.
Experience: Prior experience in a community or hospital pharmacy is preferred. Familiarity with inventory software is an added advantage.
