Job Description:
- Prepares and bakes a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and standards
- Creates and develops new dessert menus and seasonal specialties
- Ensures consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all baked products
- Manages inventory, orders ingredients, and maintains proper stock levels
- Supervises and trains junior pastry staff and kitchen assistants
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the pastry kitchen
- Monitors and controls food costs to optimize profitability
- Collaborates with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate service and menu planning
- Keeps up-to-date with culinary trends and incorporates innovative techniques
- Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations in food preparation.
Requirements:
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1 - 3 years of experience.
