OPERATIONS MANAGER AT RITE BITES

Job Description:

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth workflow across kitchen and service teams.
• Implement SOPs for food safety, hygiene, customer service, and cash handling.
• Monitor inventory, supplier relationships, and stock control to prevent waste and shortages.
• Manage budgets, cost control, and P&L performance.
• Ensure high-quality guest experience and resolve escalated customer complaints.
• Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and adherence to performance standards.
• Drive sales through promotions, upselling, and customer retention strategies.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational reports for management.

Requirements:

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Customer Satisfaction: Customer feedback scores, complaint resolution rate.
• Financial Performance: Monthly revenue vs. target, food & labor cost percentages.
• Operational Efficiency: Table turnover rate, average order preparation time.
• Inventory Management: 0% of stock wastage, variance between recorded vs. actual stock.
• Staff Productivity: Staff punctuality, shift adherence, and performance ratings.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Zero critical violations during inspections.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–6 years’ experience in restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
• Deep knowledge of restaurant KPIs, service standards, and food safety regulations.
• Ability to handle pressure, multitask, and solve problems quickly.
• Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and MS Office.
