Job Description:

We are looking for a performance-driven Senior .NET Software Engineer to design and scale our mission-critical applications. This role is ideal for a developer who excels in backend architecture, specifically in building low-latency data access layers and resilient distributed systems. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of microservices and background worker services, ensuring our platform remains scalable, reliable, and highly optimized. Requirements:

1. Backend Architecture & Microservices

• Core Development: Design and maintain scalable applications using .NET Core and C#, adhering to SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.

• Service Orchestration: Build and optimize RESTful APIs and background Worker Services for high-throughput data processing.

• Distributed Messaging: Implement and manage asynchronous communication patterns using RabbitMQ to ensure system decoupling and resilience.

2. High-Performance Data Access

• Data Layer Optimization: Develop robust data access layers using Dapper and ADO.NET, prioritizing execution speed and resource efficiency over heavy ORM abstractions.

• Database Engineering: Write and tune complex SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and schemas. You will be responsible for indexing strategies and query performance tuning.

• Reliability & Logging: Implement comprehensive observability using logging frameworks like Serilog, ELK, or Seq to monitor system health in real-time.

3. Engineering Excellence & DevOps

• Technical Leadership: Lead architecture discussions, participate in rigorous code reviews, and mentor junior developers on engineering standards.

• Modern Delivery: Contribute to DevOps excellence by managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation within Azure DevOps.

• Agile Collaboration: Work in a fast-paced Agile environment, translating complex business requirements into high-quality technical specifications.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.

• Stack Expertise: Strong proficiency in .NET Core, with hands-on experience in Worker Services and background processing.

• Data Expert: Advanced knowledge of SQL Server (indexing, execution plans, schemas) and "Micro-ORMs" like Dapper.

• Patterns & Principles: Deep understanding of SOLID, Clean Architecture, and the Repository Pattern.

• Tools: Experience with RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and version control via Azure DevOps.

• Analytical Problem-Solver: Ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed environments.
