Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Executive to drive growth within our Oil, Gas, and Energy recruitment division. This role is at the heart of our expansion strategy, requiring a professional who can navigate the complexities of the energy sector to identify large-scale hiring needs and project-based staffing opportunities. You will be responsible for opening doors with top-tier energy firms, leading high-level negotiations, and collaborating with our internal recruitment teams to ensure we deliver the best technical talent on the market.
Requirements:
1. Strategic Market Expansion
Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and develop new business relationships with International Oil Companies (IOCs), National Oil Companies (NOCs), and Energy service firms.
Pipeline Management: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying upcoming offshore/onshore projects, refinery turnarounds, and renewable energy initiatives that require specialized manpower.
B2B Networking: Attend industry conferences and technical seminars to position our brand as the leading recruitment partner for the energy sector.
2. Client Lifecycle & Proposal Management
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for HR Directors and Technical Project Managers within the energy sector.
Solution Pitching: Lead client meetings and develop tailored recruitment proposals that address specific technical talent gaps (e.g., Subsea Engineers, HSE Officers, Drilling Specialists).
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and fee structures that balance profitability with long-term partnership goals.
3. Internal Delivery Collaboration
Recruitment Sync: Work closely with our Recruitment Consultants to ensure they have a deep understanding of the client’s technical requirements and corporate culture.
Feedback Loop: Monitor the quality of talent delivery and gather client feedback to continuously refine our sourcing strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: BSc or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in Business Development or B2B Sales specifically within the Oil & Gas or Energy sectors.
Industry Plus: Prior exposure to recruitment, executive search, or technical staffing is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Sector Knowledge: A solid understanding of energy industry cycles, technical job titles, and the specific manpower challenges of the sector.
Communication: Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills; able to influence decision-makers at the C-suite level.
Negotiation: Strong ability to close high-value service contracts and manage multi-layered procurement processes.
Result-Oriented: A self-starter who thrives on meeting sales targets and expanding market share.
