Job Description:

The Serenity Spa at Crowncity is seeking a skilled and professional Part-Time Massage Therapist to join our elite wellness team. In this role, you are more than a service provider; you are a facilitator of healing and relaxation. You will be responsible for delivering a range of therapeutic treatments—from Deep Tissue to Aromatherapy—tailored specifically to the unique needs of our resort guests. We are looking for a therapist who balances technical expertise in anatomy and body mechanics with the grace and discretion required of a luxury spa environment.

Requirements:

1. Therapeutic Excellence & Personalization

• Technical Proficiency: Deliver high-quality massage services including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone, and Relaxation techniques.

• Clinical Consultation: Conduct focused pre-treatment consultations to identify client preferences, medical contraindications, and specific wellness goals.

• Customization: Tailor every session to the guest's needs while maintaining the rigorous timing and technique standards of The Serenity Spa.

• Guest Education: Provide expert post-treatment advice, including stretching, hydration, and wellness tips to extend the benefits of the session.

2. Environment & Hygiene Management

• Sanitation Leadership: Strictly adhere to medical-grade sanitation and infection-control protocols for all equipment, tools, and linens.

• Room Readiness: Ensure treatment rooms are impeccably stocked, aesthetically prepared, and reset promptly between guest sessions.

• Atmosphere Control: Maintain a tranquil, professional, and welcoming environment that aligns with our luxury brand promise.

3. Professionalism & Business Support

• Guest Relations: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, dignity, and guest comfort at all times.

• Strategic Upselling: Intelligently recommend retail products and additional spa services that genuinely complement the guest’s wellness journey.

• Operational Synergy: Collaborate with the front desk and management to ensure seamless scheduling, punctual starts, and efficient guest flow.

Qualifications and Skills:

Certifications & Experience

• Education: Certified Massage Therapist from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Licensing: Valid practicing license or state-mandated certification.

• Proven Tenure: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience, ideally within a luxury spa or high-end wellness resort.

Technical & Personal Skills

• Anatomical Knowledge: Strong understanding of body mechanics, musculature, and contraindications.

• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.

• Disposition: A calm, professional demeanor with a deep passion for healing and continuous skill development.
