Job Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and operationally-focused Marketing Coordinator to join our team as we scale our mission of driving digital and financial inclusion across Nigeria. This is a critical "on-the-ground" role where your ability to coordinate complex logistics and maintain brand standards will directly influence the success of our marketing strategy. You will serve as the glue between multiple functions including Sales, Retail, Retention, and Warehouse ensuring that our brand presence is consistent, our materials are available, and our activations are executed with precision.
The ideal candidate is a process-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and possesses the administrative discipline to manage multiple moving parts without losing sight of the finer details.
Requirements:
Activation & Event Support
Execution Leadership: Support the end-to-end execution of marketing events, product launches, and trade exhibitions, ensuring all activities align with the broader corporate strategy.
On-Ground Management: Oversee the logistical setup of promotions and activations to ensure smooth operations and high engagement.
Brand & Asset Management
Retail Presence: Manage brand visibility and marketing materials across service centers, retail shops, and partner locations to ensure assets are modern and impactful.
Compliance Audits: Conduct regular marketing audits to ensure that every touchpoint adheres strictly to our global brand guidelines and quality standards.
Creative Liaison: Partner with the creative team to ensure timely delivery of assets, taking full ownership of their distribution and physical availability on the ground.
Operations & Inventory Coordination
Stock Ownership: Own the marketing stock lifecycle—tracking inventory, monitoring usage, and collaborating with the warehouse for timely replenishment.
Planning & Alignment: Maintain and update the regional marketing calendar, ensuring all functional teams stay aligned on upcoming cycles and deadlines.
Digital Engagement: Manage and update social media channels with fresh product information and promotional content to drive awareness and customer interaction.
Research & Performance Tracking
Data Support: Assist in tracking the performance of marketing initiatives and conducting research to provide insights that inform future strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; additional exposure to Project Management or Administration is a significant plus.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, administration, or an operational marketing role.
Proven track record of managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
