Job Description:
- We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist with 2–4 years of hands-on experience, particularly within a hospitality environment.
- The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-focused mindset, and experience supporting IT systems in hotels, or similar service-driven settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Maintain and troubleshoot Property Management Systems (PMS), POS systems, and guest-facing technologies
- Support IT infrastructure including servers, workstations, printers, and network devices
- Ensure minimal downtime of IT systems critical to hotel operations
- Assist in system upgrades, installations, and configurations
- Monitor system performance and implement preventive maintenance measures
- Respond promptly to service requests and incidents, ensuring high levels of user satisfaction
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party service providers when required
- Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and system configurations
Requirements:
- OND in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related discipline.
- 2–4 years of IT support experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and common IT systems
- Familiarity with hospitality software (e.g., PMS, POS systems) is highly desirable
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-based systems and virtualization
- IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications) are an advantage.
