Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically astute IT Support Officer to anchor the digital operations of our Ikeja facility. In a competitive urban commercial hub, success is defined by "Uptime Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-fidelity hardware maintenance with the clinical precision required for network security, data integrity, and end-user enablement. This role is designed for a "Systems Architect" with 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Troubleshooting Grit" (resolving logged errors in real-time) with the "Strategic Foresight" required to advise on equipment upgrades and technological trends.

Requirements:

1. Infrastructure Orchestration & Performance Governance

  • Systems Sovereignty: Monitor hardware, software, and network performance metrics with millimetric precision, ensuring the enterprise backbone operates at peak efficiency.

  • Maintenance Engineering: Execute high-speed hardware upgrades and software patches, maintaining an audit-ready "Source of Truth" for all system versions and configurations.

  • Diagnostic Excellence: Perform rigorous diagnostic tests and document IT processes to prevent recurring errors and reduce the "Mean Time to Repair" (MTTR).

2. Technical Enablement & End-User Diplomacy

  • Assistance Velocity: Provide high-fidelity technical support to staff and customers, resolving logged tickets with a focus on "First-Contact Resolution."

  • Capability Building: Act as the primary technical educator, training end-users on hardware functionality and software programs to increase overall organizational productivity.

  • Cross-Departmental Consulting: Collaborate synchronously with IT managers and other departments to identify and fulfill specific technological needs.

3. Data Sovereignty & Security Integrity

  • Security Stewardship: Maintain database integrity and enforce robust system security protocols to protect company data from internal and external threats.

  • Innovation Reconnaissance: Keep a clinical eye on technological advancements and IT support trends, proposing upgrades that ensure the company remains at the "Cutting Edge."

  • Helpdesk Management: Utilize professional IT helpdesk software (e.g., Freshservice, SysAid) to track performance, manage workflows, and provide data-driven support reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience as an IT Support Specialist in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), and database maintenance.
