Job Description:
We are seeking a disciplined and ethically grounded Human Resource Manager to anchor our people operations in Lagos. In a competitive business landscape, success is defined by "Operational Integrity", the ability to maintain a high-performing workforce while ensuring absolute compliance with Nigerian labor laws. This role is designed for an "HR Generalist" with 3 years of experience who can blend "Emotional Intelligence" with the "Administrative Grit" required to manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to performance governance.
Your mission is to ensure "Optimal Talent Integration and Seamless Regulatory Compliance." You will be the primary steward of our organizational standards: responsible for managing the end-to-end recruiting process, enforcing HR policies, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality in record management. If you possess "Conflict Resolution Mastery," a degree in a relevant field, and a track record of driving staff development, we want you to drive our operational excellence.
Requirements:
1. Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Orchestration
Recruitment Architecture: Lead the full-cycle talent acquisition process, including strategic job postings, high-fidelity screening, and professional interviewing.
Seamless Onboarding: Design and manage onboarding programs that ensure new hires are integrated into the company culture with minimal friction.
Workforce Compliance: Monitor staff attendance and leave management, ensuring that all personnel activities align with established company policies.
2. Performance Governance & Employee Relations
Appraisal Leadership: Coordinate the staff performance appraisal process, providing management with the data needed for objective performance evaluations.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary mediator for employee relations, handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution with professional poise.
Training & Development: Systematically identify training gaps and organize development programs to enhance the skills and productivity of the workforce.
3. Administrative Integrity & Statutory Compliance
Policy Engineering: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures that reflect both company standards and current Nigerian labor regulations.
Payroll & Benefits Stewardship: Administer payroll coordination, employee benefits, and ensure all statutory obligations (PAYE, Pension, etc.) are met.
Data Confidentiality: Maintain high-fidelity employee records and personnel files, ensuring strict confidentiality and audit-readiness at all times.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc/HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3 years of proven experience in Human Resources / HR management.
Technical Mastery: Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labor Laws and proficiency in HR reporting and payroll coordination.
Core Competencies
Interpersonal Mastery: Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills for handling delicate employee relations.
Organizational Grit: Strong ability to manage multiple HR functions—from recruitment to reporting—simultaneously.
