Job Description:
Kerinci Solar is seeking a meticulous and proactive HR Assistant to anchor the operational efficiency of our Human Resources department. In a growing organization, the HR Assistant is the primary guardian of data integrity and employee trust. This role is designed for an "Operational Specialist", a professional with 1–2 years of experience who can blend the analytical rigor required for payroll administration with the interpersonal agility needed for effective recruitment.
Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Error Payroll and Seamless Talent Acquisition." You will be responsible for the foundational layers of the employee lifecycle: from the accuracy of salary calculations and statutory remittances to the coordination of candidate interviews and onboarding documentation. If you possess "Analytical Grit" and a deep respect for confidentiality, we want you to support our people-operations.
Requirements:
1. Payroll Administration & Statutory Compliance
Salary Governance: Assist in the end-to-end processing of monthly payroll, ensuring absolute accuracy in base pay, allowances, and deductions.
Statutory Remittance: Support the timely payment of mandatory deductions, including PAYE (Tax) and Pension contributions, ensuring the company remains in good standing with Nigerian regulatory authorities.
Attendance Architecture: Maintain and audit employee attendance and leave records, ensuring payroll inputs reflect real-time workforce activity.
2. Recruitment Support & Onboarding
Talent Sourcing: Assist in managing the recruitment funnel by posting job openings, sourcing candidates across digital platforms, and conducting preliminary screenings.
Interview Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between candidates and hiring managers, managing schedules and maintaining the recruitment database.
Seamless Onboarding: Coordinate the administrative "Day One" experience, ensuring all new-hire contracts and documentation are completed and filed accurately.
3. HR Documentation & Records Management
File Stewardship: Maintain high-integrity employee files and HR documentation, ensuring that contracts and personal records are up-to-date and stored securely.
Confidentiality Governance: Protect sensitive employee data with a high level of professionalism, ensuring compliance with both company policy and data privacy standards.
Departmental Support: Provide general administrative assistance to the HR Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day office operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 1–2 years of proven experience in HR administration, payroll support, or recruitment.
Regulatory Knowledge: Basic understanding of Nigerian Labor Laws and statutory payroll requirements (PAYE, Pension, etc.).
Core Competencies
Analytical Grit: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and payroll calculations.
Organizational Mastery: Strong ability to multitask and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Interpersonal Skill: Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with candidates and internal staff.
