Job Description:

• They are seeking a professional who will lead the financial advisory division of the institution, be responsible for delivering high-value strategic, transactional, and investment advisory services to clients.
• The ideal candidate will possess deep market insights, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a strong track record in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, and investment advisory.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of financial advisory mandates, including capital raising, M&A, business valuations and restructuring.
• Manage client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Oversee the origination and structuring of deals, working closely with investors and business owners.
• Build and mentor a team of analysts and associates, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Drive business development efforts and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.
• Represent the firm at key meetings, industry events, and negotiations as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in investment banking, financial advisory, or corporate finance.
• CFA, ACA, MBA or a relevant postgraduate degree in Finance will be an added advantage.
• Strong track record of leading and closing complex financial transactions.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modelling, valuations, investment memos, and deal structuring.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage both clients and internal teams.
• Strong network of investors, financiers, and industry players.
• Passionate about working with SMEs and contributing to Africa’s economic growth.
